How We Work

Prevention of dental problems is our primary aim and we achieve this with your help using our guidance as to the most suitable programme of care needed for each person’s individual success.

Appointments are carefully arranged through reception to suit individual requirements with emergency appointments available on the same day, usually, if we are contacted before 9am on the day in question.

We are grateful for your co-operation in attending or cancelling appointments, otherwise our systems cannot succeed.

Personal details including your medical history always remain confidential, in line with the data protection act 1998.

We are a family orientated practice and try to appreciate the needs of all members from the youngest to the oldest.

We do have a portable ramp to held enable disabled patients to negotiate the steps at the front entrance to the practice.

Cost of Treatment

We try to give estimates and update them should patients need additional treatment.

Private Dental Care can be explained by our staff and offers cosmetic treatment and specialised prevention with our team of hygienists.

We do our best to deliver our care to the highest standards at all times.

Means of payment can suit an individual and is done per item of treatment received, or on a monthly budgeting system called Denplan. This is a nationally organised system where the fees are collected on behalf of the dentist by the centrally administered Denplan. These plans can include children and can be tailored to suit each patient’s needs.

Out of hours care for Denplan and Private patients is through the Dentist on call via mobile phone number which is 07902 893927.

We observe the strictest guidelines as regards to disclosure of information of a personal and confidential nature along with current Information Governance guidelines.

Any complaints or compliments should be made in writing to the Head Receptionist Sara Miller.

Specialised Treatments Available

A wide range of possibilities exist and those that are most suitable will be offered once all options have been explained.

• Dentures of assorted types, to suit patient needs.
• Tooth coloured restoration, of teeth using fillings or other techniques.
• Orthodontic treatment, for those people both young and old who want straighter teeth can be done after assessment.
• Teeth whitening, can be done in surgery, professionally supervised or at home.
