Family group discounts available

Discounts of up to 15% are available if one Direct Debit covers all registered Denplan patients receiving treatment at the same practice.

How does Denplan Care work?

Denplan Care is a care contract that allows your dentist to provide ongoing preventative dental care as well as restorative treatment.

Denplan Care also includes Supplementary Insurance to contribute towards the cost of treatment required as a result of a dental injury or dental emergency.

Your dentist will assess your dental health and agree with you a programme of preventative dental care. Any outstanding treatment needed is usually carried out before your Denplan Care Contract begins.

You and your dentist then agree a monthly fee spreading the cost of your ongoing routine and preventive dental care and treatment.

Your payment is collected by Denplan, normally via a monthly Direct Debit. You can choose to pay your fee monthly by Direct Debit, or annually in advance either by Direct Debit, cheque or credit card.

Denplan Excel Accreditation Programme

Quality Programme

The Denplan Excel Accreditation Programme is designed to encourage on-going professional and practice development in the face of changing clinical governance regulation and patient expectations. Only about 10% of Denplan practices are accepted onto the Excel Programme.

To maintain Denplan Excel Accreditation, dentists are re-validated every 18 months by trained advisors. To help maintain clinical governance compliance and best
practice, during every third assessment advisors will undertake a more detailed Practice Assessment with continued support from Denplan in helping the practice meet and exceed clinical governance standards.

The Denplan Quality Programme is based on a list of ‘Essential’ items or procedures with which the practice must comply. Some of these are legal or statutory requirements, while others are considered by professional consensus to form part of good practise recommendations.
